LIVE STAGE IN MALAYSIA!

The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur (JFKL) is delighted to present ASCA × spira spica from SACRA MUSIC Live Stage in Malaysia! in December 2023, co-organized by Comic Fiesta and the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia. This year, we are thrilled to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ASEAN – Japan Friendship and Cooperation. In commemoration of this significant year, The Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur is proud to present two exceptional Japanese artists, ASCA and spira spica, who will add vibrancy to the festivities.

ASCA and spira spica, each renowned for their unique musical styles and captivating performances, will be featured to highlight this momentous celebration. ASCA, known for her enchanting voice and impactful anime themes, and spira spica, the solo project led by the cheerful Mikiha, will individually grace the stage at Comic Fiesta. This event is one of Southeast Asia’s premier anime gatherings and promises to showcase the distinct allure of Japanese culture through the live performance of anime songs. We anticipate that this musical showcase will contribute to the strengthening of ties and fostering greater understanding between the two countries.

ADMISSION/TICKETING

Free for Comic Fiesta 2023 attendees. Valid for attendees with the Sunday Afternoon Pass, Sunday All Day Pass and Weekend Pass Only. Redemption will be done via scanning the QR Code at the back of the pass and by participating in the lucky draw (starts 6th December to 18th December). Lucky winners will receive the concert ticket via email by 19th December. Kindly note that 1 (ONE) ticket can only be redeemed by 1 (ONE) person, and distribution will end when the concert venue capacity is reached.

Stage Talk – On first come, first serve basis (based on stage hall capacity).

  • Only Comic Fiesta attendees (with CF Passes) are allowed to participate in the Stage Talk.

Terms and Conditions for the Meet & Greet Session

  • No photography & videography is allowed.

  • No handshakes, hugging or body contact is allowed.

  • Gifts for ASCA and spira spica are allowed except for food, beverages and consumables – please place them in the assigned box during the session.

  • Please follow the instructions of our on-ground crew.

ABOUT ASCA

ASCA, born on September 5 in Aichi Prefecture, emerged as a rising star in the anime music scene. Under the name Asuka Okura during her junior high school years, she made waves as one of the three finalists in the 5th “Animax Anison Grand Prix,” catching the industry’s attention among 10,000 applicants. Her debut on November 22, 2017, with the first single “KOE,” marked a significant moment as the closing theme for the TV anime series Fate/Apocrypha Season 2. The song achieved gold certification with over 100,000 downloads, establishing ASCA as a noteworthy artist.

Continuing her success, ASCA’s fourth single, “RESISTER,” served as the opening theme for the TV anime series Sword Art Online: Alicization Season 2, released on February 27, 2020. Her latest offering, “君が見た夢の物語” (The Story of the Dream You Saw), released on January 26, 2022, serves as the theme song for the anime “The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II {Rail Zeppelin} Grace note.” With an enchanting singing voice and captivating live performances, ASCA has garnered global attention, solidifying her position as a standout artist in the anime music realm.

ABOUT spira spica

Mikiha, better known as spira spica, is the charismatic solo project led by the ever-smiling and cheerful singer Mikiha. She burst onto the scene in 2018 with her debut single “Start Dash,” the ending theme for “Gundam Build Divers,” and quickly became synonymous with uplifting and encouraging anime songs. Her 2022 hit, “Sun Sun Days,” as the opening theme for “My Dress-Up Darling,” solidified spira spica’s status in the anime music scene.

Since then, she has achieved a major debut, released numerous successful singles and albums, and made her mark with energetic live performances. spira spica’s story continues to unfold, resonating with fans through Mikiha’s infectious brightness and unwavering dedication to creating uplifting and heartwarming music.

    Attendees breaking this rule will be ejected from the event hall.

  • For the convenience of attendees, bringing oversized costumes, luggage or any items that may prohibit the viewing of the performance or stage is prohibited.
